Corey Snyde; A Craftsman

I have always fancied a good story; and I fancy myself a good story teller… So I started taking acting class (naturally) to surround myself with stories and their tellers.  And also to improve my story telling capabilities.

Dance is my preferred medium of storytelling, and after 20 (+\-) years of study, I consider myself an expert (no ego;-).  With that being said, I  must admit… There is something about ACTING, theater and film, that peaks my interest… Kind of like Mt. Everest* …pun totally intended.

Although I was intimidated by the majesty of acting (and horrified of being a beginner at something for the first time… In a long time).  I joined class.  Thanks to a recommendation from my besta tony testa, I landed myself in the best acting class in LA.  I know everybody says that… But MY class is TRULY and scientifically  the best thing that has happened in my artistic and professional life.

My teacher GARY IMHOFF (www.garyimhoff.net), believes “the CRAFT of film making, and The artistic realms within, is hard to find these days…  “hit markets” are hurting, and the  youtubes of the technical age are ushering  in a gang load of product that satisfy  “niche markets.”

Well Gary… That may be true… But, I found you a craftsman, and although he is  “just a dancer” my expertise tells me he is ready to trade a stage for a silver screen as soon as a craftsman of equal ability is ready to shoot him.

His name is Cory Snyde.

There is not another person I could think of that would be better and more entertaining to put on a show about how dance revolves around life. You'll break a leg watching!!"
